Mostafa M. ElBermawy, Product Growth Strategist

Mostafa is a seasoned SaaS and eCommerce growth hacker. Over the past 9 years, Mostafa has helped brands such as American Express, P&G and Ford refine their growth marketing strategies and tactics.

After running a successful web development and SEO business out of college, Mostafa decided to mix his technical and analytical skills with his passion for marketing. His data-driven approach to marketing has helped him unlock hyper-growth for many clients and former employers. He is our go to guy when it comes to technical SEO, PPC, content marketing, and growth analytics.

Mostafa is also a regular tech contributor for the BBC and his writing has appeared in publications including Wired and Fortune. He currently lives in New York where he runs Berma. When he is not at work, you can find him playing soccer, experimenting with new recipes or roaming Brooklyn on a Citi-bike.


Brandon Simes, Growth Hacker

Brandon is a well-rounded growth marketer with extensive experience in running data driven social media campaigns across various platforms. He also has experience in PPC, content marketing and SEO.

Skilled at learning new software and programming languages, analyzing data, and completing projects under tight deadlines, Brandon has worked with some of the worlds biggest brands, including Conde Nast, Lexus, Sports Illustrated, iHeart Radio, Fidelity, State Farm, Comedy Central, TNT, Target, and more.

Brandon has traveled to 5 continents and is looking forward to the 6th. He loves learning languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, and Italian to varying degrees. In off hours, he enjoys playing sports and the drums.


Cindy Tong, Product & UX Lead

Cindy is a product manager and UX designer. She's worked in digital product development at American Express, advised startups such as Knock Knock City and developed ProductTank's NY meet-up community. 

In her former life as a licensed real estate salesperson, she was the business manager for a Forbes ranked real estate team with over $1 billion in residential sales. As a NYC native, she enjoys hunting for the best bowl of ramen and people watching.

Susanne Andresen, Lead Content

Susanne comes to Berma. with five years of communications and marketing experience in politics, banking and marketing technology. She specializes in creative content and has worked  with content strategy, SEO and PPC.

She’s excited to put her multifaceted experience to use with a data-driven approach to marketing and growth hacking. 

A California native, she’s also lived and worked in three countries, and both coasts. She thinks California undeniably has the best tacos, but of course New York can’t be beat when it comes to pizza. In her free time you’ll find her running in Prospect Park or continuing her search for the best latte in Brooklyn.  



Hany OSman, Visual Exprience Manager 

Hany is a skilled videographer with a demonstrated history within the media production industry. Combing his love of health and media, Hany comes to Berma with a background in Pharmaceutical Care and Nutrition.

He's studied at the New York Film Academy, German University in Cairo, and Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema and has mastered the skills of the trade, including Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Image Editing. Hany has also appeared in several TV and Film productions and he is a SAG-E actor.
